DESCRIPTION:We are hosting a type 1 diabetes risk screening day! Type 1 diabetes is a chronic\, autoimmune disease that can strike children and adults without warning. Screening and monitoring for type 1 diabetes can help you plan and avoid serious complications that can often accompany an unsuspecting diagnosis. Families and adults of all ages are welcome. This screening can be done on CHILDREN and ADULTS and is just a poke to the finger! It is available to anyone who would like to be screened for T1D\, regardless of if you are a patient of ACHC.
