Amy Beam is an Idaho native with a passion for the rural life, who lives North of Council with her husband. Her family includes two adult sons and three grandchildren. When Amy is not at work, she spends time spinning wool and knitting; she also enjoys crocheting, tending plants, and target practice. Her personal motto in life is: “One person can make a difference.” She received her BS in Nursing from Idaho State University, and MSN Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) from Northwest Nazarene University. Before she knew ACHC existed, she wanted to provide health care in Council and rural populations. As an FNP student, Amy spent time at ACHC to complete her clinical hours. She loved the patients and staff so much that she knew Council was the perfect place for her. With over 25 years of healthcare experience, Amy enjoys helping families across their lifespan. She will work with you to promote wellness and holistic self-care whenever possible.
